I remember when International Plaza was first built in 2001 (Yeah, it's been that long). It was one of our favorite places to hang out, and today, one of the most delightful things to do in Tampa in December is to indulge in a shopping spree at International Plaza and Bay Street.
This upscale shopping center is a haven for shoppers, with more than 200 retailers, including high-end brands like Neiman Marcus, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton.
The twinkling holiday lights and festive decor add an extra touch of magic to your shopping experience.
After a day of shopping, you can also enjoy a wealth of dining options, from casual eateries to gourmet restaurants, perfect for refueling after a day of retail therapy. One of my personal favorites is Alma.
In addition to all the shopping, Santa makes special appearances during December for the little ones, making it a fun trip for the whole family. Just be sure to get there early because Santa is super popular.
