Happy New Year!!!!!! Welcome to 2018. I can’t wait to see what adventures are coming our way.
When I first started blogging I thought that I was going to write about fashion all the time. I mean it is my obsession. I love to shop and I love to play dress up. However, over the years my blogging started to evolve into fashion posts about traveling.
This was followed by fashion posts about what I was packing for a weekend getaway.
The more I posted about the places I was going the more people started to ask questions about how I could afford the time and the money to travel so much. I am always excited to share tips and tricks about how I keep up my lifestyle on a budget.
Then I thought I should write about it and here we are with Poor in a Private Plane.
Living Poor in a Private Plane is not just about travel. It is about a lifestyle.
Anyone who knows me knows that deep down inside I am not a money-motivated person. I like to have nice things and nice experiences but I don’t necessarily think you need all the money in the world to do that.
Yeah, I wear Louboutins (that I got on sale or consignment) and travel all the time (using airline points), but it is not because I am rich.
I have a regular 9-5 job, a mortgage that I wish would just go away and the usual bills that sometimes cause us to delay the things we really want to do. How am I able to travel the way I do? It is because I am creative.
Want to learn how I travel while still working a 9-5. Check out our blog post on how I travel more even when I am on limited time.
With the initial launch of this blog, I hoped to share a little bit about my lifestyle and how I manage it. I’ve seemed to lose track a bit but I am excited to get back into it.
This is an opportunity to share who I really am and why I consider myself to be Poor in a Private Plane.
There is more to fun trips and fancy clothes.
I spend hours online looking for flight deals and I do a lot of research prior to visiting a place to figure out how I can save a few bucks here and there. I cut corners where I can on my daily expenses (like bringing lunch to work. This is a big deal people!!!).
My goal is not to write another fashion or travel blog. This is a lifestyle blog. This gives me an opportunity to share with everyone how they can realistically have the luxe life on a budget.
The goal is not to become rich by filling up your bank account with lots of money. The goal is to live and feel like you are rich.
Have you started a travel fund yet? You can start a travel fund even if you’re broke AF.
I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with everyone. Tell me what you want to see. Fashion, travel, deals??!!! I love hearing from my readers.
