The book was a simple guide. Written for someone just graduating from college and getting started in the real world. There was nothing earth shattering about it. But it gave me the exact tools I needed to succeed.

The target audience for this book may be millennials however there are plenty of nuggets anyone that is just starting out with personal finance can take away from this book.
This book covers everything from money mindset to tackling debt to talking money with your partner. And it does it in a way that is not overwhelming.
As mentioned above the target audience is millennials and the author does a great job of speaking the language of millennials with chapter titles such as “Is Money A Tinder Date or Marriage Material?”
Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin
Oprah says this book can really change your life. And she is not kidding.
This book may belong below under books about money mindset however we included it here because if you only read a couple of books on personal finance this one should definitely be on the top of your list.
This book represents a lot of what we preach. Making money work for you versus working for the money.
This book covers everything from saving money, getting out of debt and taking the necessary steps towards financial freedom, however it does it in a way that focuses on your happiness and relationship with money versus how much you have in the bank.
The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
You either love in or hate him but it’s easy to agree that Dave Ramsey (no relation) does know a little bit something about money.
The total money makeover is a great guide for those that are just starting out and are looking to reset their financial life and get their finances in gear.
There is a reason why Dave Ramsey has so many loyal followers. His processes work.
Even if you don’t follow Dave Ramsey to the letter there is so many to learn from him and The Total Money Makeover is a great guide to build a solid foundation in your money journey.

This book does a great job of firing you up and really giving you the confidence you need to take the next steps in your money journey.
The book reads like you’re getting advice from a best friend. And that is what makes a great book to add to the list of must reads.
Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
There is a reason why this book pops up on every list over and over again. It really is the foundation of mindset when it comes to growing and building wealth.
Keep in mind this book was originally published in 1937. It has since been updated in 2005 however the premise of the book remains the same and lives to its title. Think Rich and Grow Rich.

Regardless of how good of a relationship you have with money you kinda need some to actually work with. And these books are great for those that are looking for help on how to make money.

Ok. So this is not exactly a personal finance book however if you want to make money you have to establish good habits.
And this book is included in the list because it has helped us develop habits that have contributed to our building a profitable business.
This book does a good job of helping you establish good habits and kick bad habits. And it is done in a way that is not overwhelming.
The idea is to start small and build upon the habits that eventually will translate to cash.
The best. This can apply to all aspects of your life. Not just your business and finances.
What books should I read to get rich?
I hate to break it to you but being rich is more about mindset and less about how many cars you have in your garage. The next couple of books are great reads for those that are truly interested in becoming rich. Especially since they are not the advice you expect to hear.
