What does it mean to be Poor In A Private Plane?
It's having everything but feeling like you don't have enough. Having all the money but no time to spend it. Having all the time but no money to do the things you love.
Or even better, not having the time nor the money and feeling like you never will.
Well, let me introduce myself.
Hi Everyone!!! My name is Taima. I am a Native New Yorker that is addicted to travel and fashion. I am a regular girl with a 9 to 5 and bills to be paid, but that doesn't stop me from living my best life.
I started my journey over $150K in debt when I first graduated. And I was overwhelmed. I realized quickly that while you can take on three jobs, cut corners, and hit your goals. That is just not fun. Through my experiences, I have learned there are ways that we can hit our goals, be financially responsible, and still live our life the way we want to.
People say money doesn't buy happiness. I don't agree. I like to say a specific amount of money isn't going to magically buy us happiness. But learning to appreciate what we have, showing gratitude, and learning to live abundantly. Those are the things that truly bring happiness.
I may not have a million dollars in the bank (yet), but my life experiences have made me the richest girl on the planet.
We all have the ability to travel and look good doing it within our means.
This is not a travel blog or a fashion blog. This is a lifestyle blog. I hope you like my tips and tricks on how to enjoy all the things you love while staying on a budget.
Being on a budget doesn't mean you have to sacrifice.
You do not need a lot of money to live well.
You do not need to quit your job (unless you really really want to) to make time for travel. You can have it all.
We don't need a million dollars in a bank. We just want to live like we do.
That is why we are Poor In A Private Plane.
XOXO
